General cuddling headcanon

Requested on: Nothing (It was my (Adrasthée) first post on the blog to show a bit of what I could do)

So I thought I’d write something to like, show off my writing or something? So yeah, have that ig? I chose a character from the different fandoms I’ll be writing for to give a token for everything, if that makes sense.

Arno Dorian

-Being of the affectionate type, Arno loves all kinds of pda, from holding his lover’s hand to all sorts of kisses (especially the ones that makes kids go “ewww”), he likes to show to his s/o how much he loves them.

-Knowing that, the fact that he loves hugs shouldn’t really be surprise.

-There’s just something he finds soothing in wrapping his arms around them, taking in their scent as he holds them tightly against his chest.

-Most of the time, he’ll take this as an opportunity to kiss the top of their head or their forehead.

-He finds it somehow reassuring to feel their head resting against his collarbone and for this reason, he also prefers to be the big spoon while cuddling, though he doesn’t mind it when it’s the other way around.

-Favourite cuddling time is while falling asleep or in the morning before getting out of bed.

-Usually if his s/o’s head isn’t laying on his chest, he’ll lay on his side, facing them with an arm wrapped around their waist to pull them close.

Makoto Naegi

-Definetely a hug slut.

-Makoto lives for the moment spent cuddling with his s/o, although he’s usually too shy to outright ask them for some cuddles.

-The longer into the relationship, the bolder he will get, if I may say, randomly hugging his partner without stopping to ask them for their permission before anymore.

-He just comes up behind them and wraps his arms around their waist, burrying his face in their hair, sometimes even gently kissing the back of their neck, others, whispering sweet nothings into their ear.

-His newfound boldness doesn’t stop him from getting redder than a tomato when they are the ones surprising him with a hug.

-One of the things he prefers, when the two of them are cuddling, is when they start mindlessly playing with his hair, he finds it very soothing.

-His favourite cuddling moment is definetely while watching tv in the evening or as the two of them fall asleep in the night.

Sherlock

A/N: I haven’t written anything for Sherlock in literally a year so please bare with me here :’)

-Definetely not fond of such demonstrations of affection.

-Sherlock just straight up doesn’t see the point and it often feels like an invasion of his personal space.

-That doesn’t stop him from having his more needy moments where he desperately needs some form of physical affection, be it hugs, cuddles or kisses.

-He’s not really going to ask his s/o if he decides he wants to hug them or to cuddle, he just does it when he wants it, kind of assuming they’ll want the same as him.

-He’s a bit of an awkward hugger most of the time, especially when surprised by a hug, he just doesn’t know how to react to this.

-The closer he is to the other person, however, the “better” he is at handling such demonstration of affection.

-His favourite moments for cuddling is in the evening after a tiring day running around london to solve some case, he likes to settle down with a book beside them and just read in silence while enjoying their proximity.
