Part 2

I think this request is an amazing idea tbh, I’ve been following @starring-danganronpa since the start and I believe this is an amazing idea of something to write for the AU! Now, being the person I am, I tend to overwork myself by making things unnecessary huge and complicated, so this is why this request will be split up! I can’t recall the exact number of parts but it should be around 4 or 5. I also decided to limit the number of characters. For the complete casting, go take a look at @starring-danganronpa and don’t forget to give them love, they’re amazing. So without further ado…

---------------------------------------------------

About fifty students attempted to get a role in the musical (more than half of which were musical addicts) and as such, the auditions were stretched over a week, going on for about thirty minutes during lunch each day until everyone had passed. Everyone had their own story on how they stumbled in the audition room, some, more interesting than others...
Yasuhiro:
Nobody really knows how he ended up there and nobody knows how he ended up doing auditions either. All they know is that one moment he wasn’t there, than the next one he was and it was amazing. Don’t ask me how he did it, he just did. Chances are he was as confused as the others were, if not more. First thing he did once on the auditions stage? Freak out. Second one? Blame the spirits. Third one? Cry out an apology because he shouldn’t have blamed them and it wasn’t there fault please don’t kill him. *Then* he finally tried the audition out. Someone just gave him the script and he did the part without too much trouble. As per custom for musicals’ auditions, he needed to sing a song too to show his voice and dancing and all and look, even Hiro himself doesn’t know why he had a song and a choreography prepared, he just felt like it was the right thing to have one ready when he woke up that morning, probably the spirits or his 33% accuracy in foreseeing that decided it was the time to strike.
Asahina:
She went in there dragging Sakura behind her, as excited as ever. Of course everyone’s favourite donut fan also happens to be everyone’s favourite Disney fan! The moment she had heard about the school’s theater troupe making auditions for  the musical inspired by the Disney classic, you can bet she was already preparing herself for these auditions. She went on stage even more speed than usual, nearly jumping around in excitation as Sakura kept a protective eye on her and her entire audition went amazingly well. As soon as the two of them left, she was constantly asking her friend if she thought they both had been casted (spoiler alert, they both had been indeed).
Gundam:
He was waiting for this with great anticipation, arriving first before everyone, even though he will definitely not admit his excitation (“The Great Gundam Tanaka doesn’t get excited like a little girl over such things, how dare you spout such nonsense?!”) Of’ course, Gundam is prepared as much as one can be, using one of the musical’s song as a demo and already knowing by heart the lines given for the audition. Is it really a surprise to say he came so prepared the audition was a blast?
Korekiyo:
The whole reason Korekiyo was in the audition room to begin with was only because he wanted to see them. After all, isn’t art humanity’s most prised form of expression? He ended up getting roped into trying it out by one of the judges and that’s how he did the auditions.
Ishimaru:
When Kiyotaka enters the audition room, complete silence falls upon the small group of students that came to assist. What the heck does mister uptight does there? He’s definitely the last person everyone imagined they’d see auditioning for a musical. Of course, he arrives there as prepared as could be and is second to pass (only because Gundam had been waiting there since the morning, otherwise he’d most likely have been first).
Hiyoko:
Honestly? Hiyoko is only there because she heard Mikan was there too and she really wanted to try this out just to be mean to her. She’s absolutely is not prepared, being one of the last to enter as she dragged Mahiru with her, she relied heavily on the text provided and improvised on the spot a small song. It wasn’t really as good as she hoped it to be but oh well, that’s what you get for not being prepared enough I suppose. She may or may not have thrown a fit and cried once out of there because she made a fool of herself but that’s Hiyoko for you.
Fuyuhiko:
Fuyuhiko… didn’t even know what he was doing there. He just got lost somewhere? Once he stepped into the audition room, he was already turning around to leave but apparently that wasn’t an option anymore? He just ended up doing the audition as quickly as could be and left, hoping he wouldn’t get any call back or what not.
Leon:
He went in there hoping to be casted as Aladdin, arriving somewhere in the middle of the 50 person that auditioned, not as prepared as he should have been. His audition was rather good, but not the best there was, once he left he wasn’t really disappointed in himself, more so frustrated with the fact that it wasn’t the best thing ever.
